What is the difference between diacritical character ⊕ and overline character ◌?
I know the definitions for the diacritical characters are:

What is the difference between ⊕ and ◌? I can't find any documentation on this online.

An overline denotes an “extended” character, used to denote a word that is being used as a ligature. It is used to mark syllable division in foreign words, and the conjunction in French.
I don’t know of any word that it is used to denote a ligature in English. It’s used, for example, in the English-Spanish dictionary, but in this case it’s used to denote a type of ligature. It’s used to mark words with common letters that are not as commonly used as they should be, and the same goes for the other diacritics:
The marks for foreign words should be used to denote how they are pronounced in English.
As a final note, the reason it’s not used to denote ligature in English is that it’s used more or less exclusively for foreign words.
